Slackware on the EeePC

Recently i had read an article about installing Slackware on the Asus EeePC.
The article looked pretty straight forward, i've installed Slackware and other operating systems countless times so i figured it should be a piece of cake.

The information listed in the article as i mentioned, seems straight forward and easy.

Dead CPU

My apologies for the site being down. The server blew a cpu and was hanging in the balance.
The admin was on vacation so not able to look at the servers and I was guarding the post but to be honest didnt even know that the particular server that actually hosts this site was even hooked up and running.
So anyways, the site is back up. Enjoy.

US Border Search

The US has decided it is legally entitled to search anyones laptop as they cross the US border. As well, people have been reported to have been fingerprinted and retina scanned even while just passing through on their way to other countries.
This raises serious doubts about US credibility and security.

well i've been saying it since the rumors of the merger/take-over were mentioned.
AMD likes Linux
ATI pretty well couldnt give a rats ass.
what i said: IF it happened, AMD would make sure that the ATI cards have proper Linux drivers, it would only be a matter of time for them to properly develop the drivers and system of support.
ITS HERE!@! maybe this will help get the ball rolling for game developers to port to linux or just develop natively for it. ;)
